I'd definitely take the credit.

It doesn't work. I used gorilla glue too. After a week, I moved it around and the support snapped off. The only way you can fix it is fill the hollow beam with epoxy, drill a hole with support peg, glue, sand and repaint the base.
Looking at his pics again, my issue was the leg support beam. It will not take weight unless you fix the hollow structure. His should work as there is no weight affecting it.

Love my Conan...but the base has been a real problem, statue fell a couple of times with parts breaking and being replaced, glue won't work because it's hollow...has to be pegged and filled.

This statue just moved into by top 3 sideshow pieces. So glad I got Conan just amazing in person.

Even with all the toppling issues...it's a favorite for me.

Easily my favorite Sidehow PF, by a wide margin.
A perfect capture of how I imagine Conan.

I love mine too. So much detail and drama. One of sideshows standouts because they didn't use a rehashed pose and it builds this wonderful scene of urgency and rage.
People were laughing at it at the start as usual but quickly ate their words once they delivered.

I didn't laugh at the start but didn't end up liking what was delivered. The paint always looked oddly cartoonish to me. Well executed sure, but not really fitting in my eyes. Also it was pretty damn expensive for when it went up.

Love this piece, so many details, excellent mixed media. Have mine paired with the first RS and they go great together. The base has a real weak spot you have to be careful with though.
