It will be awhile before I upgrade again, but I do like my DLP set.

I would recommend researching a lot, AVS Forums provides a wealth of information on all the new sets and their strengths and weaknesses.

I found a lot of tweaks there for my set in the service modes and it helped dramatically improve the image quality/overscan from the factory defaults. It would look even better if I had either a calibration disk or have it professionally done.
