Honestly...right now I'd say if on the fence wait, and check back in on how they resolve this because I'm not sure where the story is heading right now.

I didn't find it to be that strange, considering Anakin was an immaculate birth as well. In fact, I'm really intrigued at the possibilities. In the opera house scene in Revenge Of The Sith, Palpatine's story suggests that he and Plagueis may have brought about Anakin's birth by using some arcane dark side knowledge. What if these witches were manipulated into birthing the twins by a hidden Sith via some dark side "magic" so that one or both could eventually be made a Sith, unbeknownst to the coven. I think it's a cool premise. And perhaps they were led to that mountainous temple, could be an old Sith temple

In episode 3, young Mae definitely seems to be under a dark influence, I don't think she would normally try to kill her beloved sister out of the blue like that. There are questions yet to be answered, like how the witches actually died, they were all just lying there, but I'm sure they'll fill in the blanks. And what about the guy Mae is working with, Qimir, seems potentially more devious than at first glance.

I like the concept of witches, nightsisters, whatever, and the force ( I mean, if you don't like Asajj Ventress then our conversation ends right here lol). But I think they could have explored that just fine, and even made it more grounded in SW lore, without mixing in immaculate conception (or whatever they finally reveal - unless I missed it, it wasn't actually specified yet). I get the Anakin similarity, but not everyone needs to be an Anakin.

The acting and the whole depiction of the coven comes across as cringy instead of cool though, so that's not helping anything.

I just watch it without thinking about it any further. I like it so far.

I wouldn't give a child to the Jedi. Would you?

It’s like rubber necking a horrible accident. I don’t want to watch but can’t look away.

One aspect is some shows feel like shows while others feel like a movie chopped into parts. Episode 4 ends literally in what feels like mid sentence.

Right now this show has a lot set up and has me worried about the payoff given some, we will say curious writing and acting choices.

At least the Jedi robes look cool and I am interested in the villain.

Yep, that's been one of my frustrations with Disney+ as a whole, and episode 4 is a perfect example of it, to end right there is so lame. Especially given it was about a 27 minute episode when you cut out the recap/intro/credits...why couldn't they have combined eps 4 & 5 into one banger episode, ugh! Regardless, the villain is definitely intriguing and I'm looking forward to the clash of light and dark. Unfortunately it'll be without the wookie Kelnacca, but I imagine we'll see him in action when they reveal what actually took place at the witches' temple in more detail.

I am liking this more after the end of Episode 4. It is uneven with some good and bad acting/writing. That beard on the older version of Tobin - at least it didn’t fall off mid scene! I think Lee Jung-jae as Master Sol may be the best of the bunch. Carrie-Anne Moss is cool also - she’s too good an actor for her storyline to be as we have seen so far so hoping there is more to her story.
