I swear if marines are the same size as guardsmen :P
And quite a few reasons forgeworld wouldn't do this stuff. But the largest and easiest one is that they do mass production and use steel molds. Such molds are generally not used for statues certainly not for the large parts because they are expensive af. Such sales are beneath them :P Also different materials, sculptors, distribution, amount of sales, factories, etc ;p Miniatures and statues are a very different business :|
edit: I bet you're hoping for some sisters repentia aren't you warlock :P

This is why it's going to be so damn hard to make...an orc player isn't going to want an eldar piece, an eldar player isntgoing to want to buy a tyrants piece and a space marine player isntgoing to want a different chapter than their own.
And for the usual $500-700 or more price the person better think it's worth more than a cool ass Forge world titan they can actually put on the game table...

I'm fine with other chapters, even ultramarines ;p I'll take pretty much anything imperium leaning ^^ If they sell Dios in parts (which is common for large dios) then if people don't like a part they just won't buy that bit
Also they said these will be extremely limited ;p
Also even a warlord titan (which is like 1200 gbp) is only 22" tall.

If it's a diorama then they can have two armies represented to appeal to more people... I doubt personally that I'll be buying any of these. I like my statues to have a bit of nudity in them and I doubt that will sit well with GWs current product image. I'd expect to see a space marine loved in the throes of compact with a tyranid or orc for the first piece, done up in 1:6 scale.

So, this is a surprise!
In the Prime1 thread, I commented on what I perceive to be a very limited market for these types of statues. Now we have two heavy hitter collectibles producers gaining the license.....
This could get very messy. While I often think that competition is good, in this case, on an I.P. like this, the current situation could be the exception to the rule.
I hope both companies have the sense to, as far as possible, coordinate their product selection and flow. If it comes down to a race of who gets to the shop window first, I can see one of these companies leaving the license sooner rather than later......
Hint: that would be a bad thing.
