Just an all around amazing Sci-Fi film with great elements of action, mystery and romance. Gave it a 9.5 my initial viewing knowing it was probably a 10 but I don't hand those out easily and wanted to be sure. Michael Arndt's screenplay is impressive and it's exciting to know he is applying his talents to Star Wars Episode VII. The original score by M83 is beautiful. Joseph Kosinski has proven himself as one of the best Director's of Sci-Fi material out there at the moment. Oblivion is my favorite film of 2013 so far and gets my highest recommendation.

Keeping the circle jerk alive.

Liked it a lot. Funny and touching - ending not what I expected.
Funny coincidence. I watched this the other night. Agree with your score.

Haywire 5/10

Really don't know how i feel about it.

Was especting a Bourne type movie and it just felt a bit flat. Great cast but didn't connect with the main character.

May just bored of the Spy Thriller after watching the Bourne Legacy before this.
Might leave it a while before i watch Salt

I felt the same way with haywire. I should have expected the slower pace, with it being Soderberg.
Salt was awful IMO. it's just a standard chase movie. Nothing original. Take your time.

Mud - 8/10

Another winner for me - I liked the slow draw and the characters were fantastic

Justice League: Flash Paradox 8/10 Since I don't read DC the best way I can explain this movie is to compare it to a Marvel "What If" type story. It stars the Barry Allen Flash, who makes a "small" change to the time continuum which has disasterous results that actual jepordize his reality. He awakens in an alternate timeline with things unlike what he remembers. Slowly losing the memories of what he knew he races against time before his timeline is erased. Costarring the Justice League and a Batman that needs to have his own movie or comic book. The weakest thing about this was the inconsistent art. While it looks decent for most of the movie, there are some scenes where the anatomy looks really out of porpotion. That said the story saved the art and is a must watch for any comic book fan.

The Apparition - 3/10

I wish these newer horror/ghost movies had the same personality as they did back when I was a kid. Maybe it's because I'm an adult now and I've seen so many movies of this genre - but this one was just boring... And then fell apart in the end.

Yes this movie is an escape like no other IMHO, the cinematography, the soundtrack,Andrea Riseborough's intense performance and the twist combines to delight the senses.
