The problem is the factory that was chosen to manufacture most of these. They must send some deceptively good production samples to DC for DC to keep okaying everything.

They should just finish them with white paint, then have people paint their own. I think someones 90-year-old relative with bad eye sight, extreme drinking problem, the shakes, and hand tremors could paint better than that.
