I don't know man.

I really don't like the choice of the closed mouth for this female bust. It's like the equivalent of a closed mouth Jaws statue. Who the hell wants that? If I were having this commissioned uncertainty would not have this piece made with a closed mouth.

the thing is that there are no JP t-rex maquettes or busts (original SW) that exist with open mouth. paul mentions it in one of the vids showing the bust.

More reason the have an open mouth. what I don't understand about the art direction of this piece, why does it have to based on the behind the scenes maquette? This isn't a full body maquette. I think this piece should be made to look the VERY best possible, and in my opinion I think that's an aggressive open mouth pose.

I'm going to wait and see. As cool as it will be to own this SWS piece I don't need to own it. in the end of it's not what I'm totally happy with I will pass and move on which will be a bummer as I wanted this piece for YEARS...years.

Open or closed mouth is just personal preference, doesn't make it right or wrong, personally I love the pose as is, I have the breakout for the open mouth so I'm good

Everything you see is open mouth, nice to see something different. I preferred the more closed mouth on the Raptor too, but they did go with the open mouth on that.

it's a more neutral form. i like it this way imo. not everything has to be "attack" mode.
