Family is all about joking/ribbing each other. Don't take it so hard.
How often do you participate in "geek related" events (conventions, comic stores, movie evente, etc)? You just need to associate yourself with more open minded people who understand your perspective and hobbies. You'd be surprised at how supportive people in "alternate" career paths (tattoo artists, writers, artists, actors, sex workers, etc.) can be.

He lives in Turkey, which isn't quite the society you describe.

Ditto.

Again, I have to agree. I don't like certain characters with heels that shouldn't have them. I really love what Darwin Cooke did with both Catwoman and Batgirl as far as their functional updated costumes. Adam's stuff is fun and cheeky but it should just be for covers and statues not actual day to day use for these characters. I love Artgerm's take as well.

I''m not a fan of the Artgerm ones because the heads look too small on all of them. I have a few of them but the more I look at them the more I think about boxing them up and selling them. More room means more new stuff! LOL
I found the original Hughes design.

She would have looked great too. I really liked his unmasked bust of her just holding her cowl. His bust line was amazing.
