Best Star Wars since ROTJ.
LOVED IT.
That sequence of Fett and the IG droid was epic. 👍🏻

When is this based in the Star Wars timeline?
I enjoyed the first episode. I'd like to know more about these Mandalorians and the ending of episode one made me curious about where this series is going.

It's set between Episodes 6 and 7. Pretty soon after the fall of the Empire.

it was a good first episode, definitely has lots of potential. I did not expect that surprise ending, nice twist.
For a TV show, it had very high production values. The vibe of the show is very cool, kind of like a Clint Eastwood western but in space.
The time period seems to be a few years after the Empire falls.

I liked it. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high but it felt a bit lacking in some areas. Particularly the score and sound design, which unfortunately didn’t pack the punch I expect from Star Wars. Not sure what the runtime was on the first episode either but it felt quite short. That said it’s got a ton of potential and I love that Favreau and Filoni are drawing inspiration from such classic westerns and samurai films as The Man with No Name Trilogy, Yojimbo and even Lone Wolf & Cub.

He's not a Fett. He's a Mandalorian, which as HB explained is not what the Fett's are. They just wore Mandalorian armor. I enjoyed this quite a bit. the visuals are stunning and this looks absolutely amazing. I agree that a FS statue of the title character would be incredible. This is visually my favorite Mandalorian armor yet...I love the looks of it.
One weak link was the soundtrack. It drew me out of the story at times and didn't fit the amazing overall look and visuals...at least IMO. Other than that though I enjoyed this episode plenty...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I loved the score when they were riding the creatures, beautiful. I also like it at the end during the credits and when it showed the art.
Rewatched the IG scene a couple times. Badass.
