This was a great series, and so many comic creators had their hands in it: Steve Gerber, Jack Kirby, Alex Toth, Marty Pasko, Roy Thomas, and Gerry Conway.

I loved the whole Ruined Earth - Post Apocalypse aspect of the show. Things like a crumbled Washington Monument on its side, the ruins of the St. Louis Archway, the Brooklyn Bridge spanning on half way 'til destroyed. I loved stuff like that as a kid and still do.
Damn, I just might have to buy this.

Well he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Seriously considering picking this up but I don't buy standard DVDs anymore.
I'm just thinking it'll most likely never make its way to Blu-ray and if it did its debatable as to whether there would be a noticeable difference in picture quality given the cartoon's age.
