I keep coming back to this and looking at her face. I am in love. Praying that SS sticks with this look.

Same. I think it's only going to look better on the finished product. I love when they give the portrait some life with little expressions like this. A little smirk goes a long way sometimes.

I'm sure with the program used to sculpt these things, they use it to measure the length of limbs and things like that to make sure everything is symmetrical. I'm not 100% sure but I think the models are created sometimes before they're even put in a pose.

There's a lot going on with her body in that pose that at a glance could look off, but if you really give it a good look, everything checks out.
Your right. Sometimes i wonder where statue forum would be without you.

Maybe they'll pull an Elektra and give a swap out arm. I love the arm with the claws digging into the base, but I don't really like the back arm that just randomly has the whip dangling all willy-nilly behind her.

I don't believe most people here (myself including) expects Sideshow to be able to please everyone. It was just an observation, as I don't like the way that arm with the whip looks.

It's not really the epitome of anything. There's people in the Elektra thread -----ing about a centimeter of her bangs showing.

I greatly apologize if my opinion hurt your feelings.

My feelings are fine thanks tho. My statement wasn't a personal attack but more of a generalization that some complaints, considering the bigger issues with the company, are just, well, laughable.

So if the whip is problem, what would be your solution? Not that Sideshow would give a rat's ass.

Personally nothing bothers me about this statue other than Sideshow's mishmash of costume source material. I guarantee there will be no other BTAS homage.
