With prep time, Stark. Without prep time, Magneto. Simple as that, IMHO.
The only way that Stark keeps from being peeled like a bad banana is to create a suit that relies on no ferrous materials whatsoever.
Even with prep, Tony's got quite a fight on his hands. But without it, IM doesn't stand a chance.

Either could win depending on the writer. Iron Man Armor has been upgraded to deal with Magneto types so its not a slam dunk for Magento.

I just don't see Ironman having a chance in this fight. Magneto just have to much power for Ironman to handle.

I'm curious why people think Magneto would have such an easy win?
Based on the few times they fought each other in the comics, Iron Man has held his own or won against Magneto.
It should be noted Magus wasn't at his full power level for this encounter.

Just kidding. Not that it was funny but it my type of humor (the not funny kind).
I'd give the edge in terms of power to Magneto, but Iron Man's no stranger to magnetics. Since Mags can't directly affect the armor he would have to;
1. Overwhelm it with energy (not easily accomplished),
2. throw something big at it (considering Count Nefaria has hit Iron Man with a cargo freighter and he survived, Iron Man should be able to weather anything Mags can use as a projectile),
3. disable the armor with an EMP (thankfully it seems Iron Man has finally figured out to shield his power source from the effects of an EM pulse).
Now can Iron Man penetrate Mags defenses?
Probably given time he should be able to find a way around them (sonics maybe?) or bash through them in time.
I'd give Iron Man the win 6 times out of 10 against Magneto. More if he has time to break out a Magnetobuster model. |
Wow I can understand that ur a fan of Mr Stark but to think he could even beat an Omega level mutant is just insane. IronMan dosnt stand a chance in this fight If Mags is strong enough to pull a bullet from space million miles away what is Stark going to do.
