I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

The regular portrait looks great. The rest, especially the base....nope.

Jean and Cyclops would have made a great pairing, but they both have bland costumes and bases. Don't care for either of the portraits on Cyclops. Real missed opportunity here.

I think she is simply a stunner. The portraits, pose, and yes even the flames have grown on me. The only drawback, as someone already pointed out, is the over simplification of her costume which lacks detailing. Other than that, Jean is a lean, mean, confident machine.

I pre-ordered them. My wording was a little off there. What I was trying to emphasize is that they would have made a GREAT pairing if the costumes were as detailed as some of the recent Sideshow releases and the bases were a bit more inspired.

They'll still look good together and have a place in my collection. I'm just a bit disappointed thinking about what could have been.

Understood, i feel the same way, i'll probably still get both of them, they are good, but it could have been great if they had worked a bit more on it.

I hope maybe someone comes out with a custom base that connects both in some very cool way.

This is just soooo good. My favorite waifu brought to life (yes the hideous Jim Lee costume). Def due to the age I was exposed to the X-Men but I'll take the Jim Lee costume over anything else. Credits to Lewis Villamar on FB (leg bands were repainted gold).

Hmmm Mark Newman really took a nod to his the Bowen Jean Grey to heart and recreated her in this new format.

Ain’t complaining but appreciating the piece (just not the pink flame)
