Well done.
Mine is even more grey skin-toned than yours.
I would give paint a 3/10 .
But overall nice review.

As i own the Ex i can say that you manage to do the pictures that give the best reality of what you can have in hand.
Bravo.

Your review is informative, honest and fun to read and your pictures are simply fantastic.
Truly great stuff; 'nuff said! (to quote the legendary Stan Lee...)

As I've been buying statues for around 20 years and doing reviews for about half that time, perhaps I've become more forgiving, if not realistic, in terms of my expectations from production companies. With regards to to the Red Sonja, I had no substantial issue with the paint, the fragility of the costume design and accessories, or the price.
All this to say that my perceptions are likely becoming less the norm in that while I may have preferred a different pose or choice of paint or costume design on a given piece, I've come to work with what I have as opposed to what I don't. In other words, this doesn't feel like a "what could have been" type statue for me as it appears to for others.
P.S. It also seems par for the course that with statues with a really high ES, we're going to see more defects.

I defiantly know what you mean with age comes a different viewpoint and im right there with you. Just for the sake of the masses I try to stay as objective as I can for me thats the whole sense of the review and doesn't always completely reflect my own personal feelings about it.
The ES as you stated Par for the course is a great analogy and spot on with what it pertained to.

I really enjoyed your review and pictures. You did a superb job with breaking down all the features and having a fairly accurate critique of her skin tones too.
Looking forward to more of these reviews from you my man!
