Fabric pants and boots brought this piece down a notch imo. I'm just not a fan of fabric material being used on statues. I don't mind too much with fabric/mixed media being used on capes though as long as it's done well.

It is wise to use real fabric on such piece and the portrait is sculpted and painted very good. The pose is great. It has been a long time that Sideshow did not make a nice movie character statue until this piece.

No, fabric does not belong on a scale mail suit of body armor.

Agree. Big turnoff with the fabric pants. These days, I lean towards statues with a full sculpt (although I know most capes are fabric which I reluctantly accept).

It is difficult to be manufactred if it is fully sculpted piece, fabric brings balance between production detail and painting.
In this case I am with Sideshow.

They've done plenty of highly detailed textured pieces in full sculpt. Literally nothing difficult about it, but carry on.

I only dislike mixed media when it looks bad.
In this case I don't think it does.

I thought his pants were like the recent Cap PF, his pants look “fabricy” but are sculpted. Too bad Aquaman isn’t the same.

There is nothing fabric looking sculpture comes better than fabric itself.
