I like the coins but if XM wants to go another route, I'd like a small box to keep the switch outs in. It could have the characters name and face on the box or just XM. The small box would allow for easy storage and access verses digging the parts out of the big box.

Doesn't anyone place their extra accessories, head sculpts, and/or parts in a plastic tote? I do. I wrap them all in packing paper and call it a day. Wouldn't anything extra like coins, place holders, extra boxes with foam cutouts just cost more money?

Lose the coin and focus on the statue, man. How hard can it be?

why wouldn't you just leave them in the box?

Are you talking about all the extra stuff? Quick access. I'd also hate to have to go get the shipper box from the garage, cut the tape to open it, pull the box out, pull the foam out of the box, and grab the accessory just to swap it out.

Put it all in a plastic tote and keep it inside your home somewhere for quick access. Like I said, how hard can it be?

I voted to keep the coin but make it available on all the statues with a matching edition number and coloring on the character like the Supes coin Chris posted would be a nice bonus. If all that adds to the price of the statue than nix the entire idea. The coin isn't important enough for me to pay more for the statues to get it.

I also like the idea of a custom storage box for the switch out pieces but I think that will increase the overall cost of the statues plus it will be just one more box to have to store so I can't support that idea.

Other - Keep coins (the status quo) but no need to add matching numbers to them as that might complicate things. I'm fine with things the way they are now. It satisfies the collector's compulsion to have something exclusive and the coin isn't vital to the piece enough to aggravate the less obsessive collector.

The poll needed the "as is now" choice.

keep coins, add edition #, and some color.

also do it for the 1st 100 or so to reward those who preorder in advance.

this would also be great for the 1/6 diorama. all matching coins and edition sizes for those who commit a ton of money beforehand to have the entire diorama as 1 edition # and size.
