Many Thanks.

I bought XM Magdalena in May, unfortunately the head was not in order. Then I got a new head from XM. Two ends of the hair of this head broke off during transport to me. I repaired both heads and breathed life into one of them with oil paints. It's the first time I've done something like this with oil paints.

This is the original head (not the one I painted. Forgot to take a picture beforehand)

And this is the head that I completely painted (hair and face) with oil paints.

Wow, incredible work my man she’s gorgeous! Really well done

Re: your Sonja project - the barbarian is looking awesome, skin tones looking very good. I hear ya on the 3D printed stuff. For the first time this year I was working with some printed parts and for the most part they were great quality but the areas I did have to fix were difficult. There is so much prep work involved to remove print lines and/or support nubs/holes - I was only working with portraits so I can only imagine a whole statue

I know what you mean

I have now bought liquid resin and apply a thin coat to these areas with a brush. Then I cure the resin with a UV flashlight. Then wet sand again and again.
That's a lot of work, but I got it completely smooth
What are you currently working on ?

The XM Magdalena paint app looks good.
I never understood why XM felt the need to add that thick strand of hair at the front of the portrait.
