Talking My Minute Collection

I saw some people posting "small" collections that were ~ 10+ statues, so I figured that since mine is only 6 total (soon to be 7), I would have to use a smaller adjective to describe mine. LOL

Background:
I had the first 3 pictures before I had the statues (Bane, Venom, Thanos) and at the time of purchase thought I'd just be more of a picture collector. Then, I walked into a comic book shop while I was on vacation and saw the Kelley Jones BW Bane. I had a conversation with my girl friend (primarily "If I buy this, I'm displaying it in our house, you're OK with that right?") and an expensive new hobby was born. Since BW Bane I've picked up 6 more statues (one is arriving Thursday), and had to pick up a few more pictures at Comicon to even it out.

Now, I'm going to move onto the next adventure which is building my own display piece for the pictures / statues, likely in the next month. It's not much, but I'm pretty patient about not overpaying (too often anyway...) and I'm pretty excited about how it's turning out.

Thanks to both. I've enjoyed selecting both the statues and the prints. I'm going to need a lot of wall space though if my collection winds up looking anything like either of yours, LOL.

Thumbs up

Like the faux bronze statue theme & displaying with their matching framed artwork's a great idea!
