Joyce is checking with Arthur as to whether he will be sketching. However, she did say that he normally sketches at shows so fingers crossed that he will do so at Adelaide & Brisbane. She said pre-show requests are doubtful at this time due to Arthur's current heavy work schedule.

Joyce also said that she hopes to sketch but will be looking after their youngster as well so it will depend on how much time she has available.

I'll get back to you all once I've heard from Joyce about her and Arthur sketching and whether they will be bringing along original art for sale

Besides his commissions, do you know if he plans on bringing any pages/pre-done work with him, and if so, what kind of price range they usually go for (that latter question is a bit open-ended)?

WOW! Understatement of the year there Royd!

I am in shock. Arthur is my ALL-TIME favourite artist. I've loved his stuff since I first started reading comics over 30 years ago.

Thanks so much Royd, can't believe he is visiting my home town!

Just wanted to mention that Arthur Adams has confirmed that he will be doing Bust (head/shoulders) pieces at the Supanova expos in Adelaide and Brisbane and he will be charging $300.00 per.

I'm guessing that they'll be along the lines of this pieces which was done at SDCC - http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...82&GSub=159046

I will be doing my "famous" mini paintings (3x4 watercolors) on demand all day.
$15 AUD (no list requited, just come up to the table).
I will have pre-made ones on the table for $10.

6x6 full color, full body watercolor paintings $100 AUD (limited list)

9x12 full color, full body watercolor paintings $160 AUD (limited list)

11x17 full color, full body watercolor painting (multiple characters) $350 AUD (limited list)

Hey Wrothy,

Andy Price just got back to me with info on his sketch rates etc. as follows:

"Yes, I'll be doing sketches, and I'll have limited and open edition prints, as well as original art and pages for sale.

Sketches range from pencil to rendered marker.

in Australian prices...

4.5 x 5.25 inch pencil head sketch on cardstock (these are the most popular... quick headsketches of whatever, but generally ponies are what's requested.) $15 aud. I do these all day long!

9x12 inch Pencil sketch, full figure done on recycled 100 lb sketch paper - $65 aud. This is for a single figure. Additional figure is $35 aud. I generally take on 3-6 of these a day, dependent on how busy everything is and demand.

9x12 inch full grayscale marker sketch on recycled 100 lb sketch paper. This is a full figure sketch, rendered with cool/warm grayscale markers. These are kind of the "top end" of what I do at conventions- they are the most detailed, but also time consuming so I only take on a few, maybe 3-5 the entire weekend, dependeding on how busy it is.

These are $140 aud. Additional figure is $35 aud

open edition prints are $25 aud, and are 11x17 inches. Limited edition prints are $50 aud and are 13x19 in size, archival quality thick watercolor paper, and limited to 100 prints.

Art ranges from $20 and up, depending on the piece!"
