I like that JW print but are we sure it is Mondo? I know it is a giveaway by Universal at SDCC. I do deduct points for the staging being very close to Taylor's JP piece with the T-Rex from just a year ago.

I'm pretty sure it isn't Mondo.

But Universal took a hint from WB and Mondo last summer (Godzilla poster) and got an artist to produce a print to create buzz for their upcoming movie.

It's all over movie sites too so it seemed to work.

You know what, you're right. When I saw the article I saw San Diego Comic-Con in bold and just assumed it was Mondo. It isn't.

Those toys might be too much. It's Hot Toys and Sideshow territory. I can't see those selling in a Target in the future. And I remember the days of the Playmates TMNT statues which were a little over $100. And even Sideshow's TMNT statues which were $200. It's almost crazy that 1/6 figures are in the $200 price range now. I can see Hot Toys with the movie accuracy and quality. But TMNT at $150? Right now not really feeling that.

And if I was CEO of Mondo for tomorrow's Batman Day I would have:

1. 66 Batman Print. Whole series image.

2. Keaton Batman 89 Print.

3. Bale Batman Print or Series.

4. Batman Beyond Return of the Joker Print.

Announcement would be Animated Batman episode prints which were hinted at when they did the Mask of the Phantasm print.

I wonder what the other videogame print is? I assume the first is Sunset Overdrive. For some reason I doubt it will be from a Japanese game company.

Hopefully Mondo planned this for the last year or so. I never even considered a Batman Gallery show from them with all the artist gallery shows, SDCC, and Mondo Con. Perhaps my list will show up there...
