Mount Rushmore.

Okay I was extremely bored and starting thinking if they were to build a Mount Rushmore with 4 sport figures who would they be? Obviously they would have to be 4 very influencial and legendary athletes.

My four; Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods & Mohamed Ali. Hard to argue with those four but what say you brothers????

This was on Mike & Mike in the Morning from ESPN! LOL !!! You didn't come up with this idea. It's been all over the radio for days!

And their four were:

Ali, Jordan, Woods and Gretzky

I am a HUGE Gretzky fan, but Orr changed the way defense was played.

Not saying Gretzky didn't change the game during his era, but I chose Orr.

That is funny. I swear to you I hadn’t heard it. My job has no AM reception and they blocked ESPN radio’s site so I can’t listen anymore. I think nobody can argue with Woods, Jordan & Ali. It’s that last spot that’s open for debate. As big as Gretzky was he doesn’t bump Ruth from that mountain IMO. There’s no football or hockey player that bumps Ruth IMO. I’d put Hulk Hogan up there before Gretzky. lol

But the main question that 50% of the callers said was this.

Is Woods actually an athlete in the same sense as the others? That why he'd be argued off the mountain. As for Ali IMO he's the only on that is etched in stone. Jordan/Chamberlain, Orr/Gretzky, Ruth/Mays/Mantle/Williams were all fantastic. And IMO Montana should be there as well.

The only problem I would have with these four is that two are from basketball and I can't see half of the Rushmore of sports being from the NBA.

I'll take Jim Brown, Babe Ruth, Wilt Chamberlain, & Gretsky.
