Updated the first post, scammer is on it again! This time under ebay username 2014_farnz

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...ab=AllFeedback

Same game all over again... see auctionnumber 261666594242; putting up Final Fantasy statues for auction starting at 1 euro and cancelling just before the auction ends. Stating in all of the auctions she/he has other FF statues for sale and you have to contact her/him for it... once you do the scamming will begin.

Also the (Germany based) scammer is now pretending to be based in Austria!

I just reported one their auctions to ebay. Listing items and asking to be contacted directly is a violation of ebay policies. We'll see what it ebay does.

Thanks jedi_don, I also reported his auctions to ebay.

Also I updated warningmessages on myfigurecollection.net and someone who also became a victim of this scammer messaged me:

Hello Vinnnie and thank you.

I've just read you post on MFC and statue forum.com about this scammer, i almost fell into his trick.
He proposed me leviathan statue for 500euro outside ebay paying via paypal.
At the moment he just refunded me few minutes ago and asked me to pay on his wife account...he just sended me the new paypal request marked as "services"(with 10euro discount)
He does provided me with a DHL tracking number:
(ext link)
I'm assuming there is a great chance there is nothing inside the parcel...

At this step i got my money back, but what i should do? how do we trick this guy and report him to ebay?
I'm so sad right now, this statue was suposed to be my grail in my collection...

Thank you and sorry to disturb you with this but i would like your opinion.

Regards.
