I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It was on Diamond's shipping list a few weeks ago - not sure what happened with it since some obviously got it the week Diamond said it was coming out. There must be some severe allocations going on. The retailer I ordered it from hasn't received it yet, either.

Allocations? Damn so not only is it delayed, but now it's also allocated...

I don't know for sure that that's what's going on, but it does seem weird that it was on Diamond's list and DC has had it in stock on their site since around that time while other retailers have yet to receive it.

@ziotibia - thanks for sharing my pics - sorry for the delay in posting them myself!

@Larry - yes, Superman is supposed to have his eyes open; apparently, according to an interview with Tim Bruckner, it was a deliberate decision during the design process with Shawn Knapp. Odd yes, but 'correct'.

Looks pretty good, but Superman's face is still off.

Can't really see it in the pictures, but are Superman's leg "stuck" together?

According to Comiclist.com, the statue is scheduled for release on the 6th of November. They tend to be quite accurate.
