Shipping These Days!

I have put up my Cinemaquete Predator up for sale on various Places in Denmark, shipping is cheaper or there is also local pick up option so Again much cheaper.

To unload it faster I thought about making shipping overseas an option.

So I tried fedex for to check shipping costs. Just for fun.

Shipping from Denmark to UK London is either
1048$ or 397$ That difference is complely mental!

Even nearly 400$ is pricy enough if you aks me is that the rate for shipping now?

over $1000 to ship something that size? Wtf?

Fed Ex is mental indeed

prices have climbed slightly in Canada but assuming you stay within a certain size package and ship via Canada Post, it isn't to bad yet. I'm sure local pick-up will be the only option for most people eventually

The only pieces I offer for shipping are those with a reasonable ship cost (Hot Toys, Koto pieces, smaller SS pieces, etc). Everything else I go through local sites and make people pick them up. It might take longer but it saves headaches on my end

I shipped a Sideshow Alien Warrior 1:1 bust to Italy last year. The box was too big for USPS, FedEx wouldn't take it, my only option was UPS and it cost $1100 to ship.

Shipping is very costly indeed.

All shipping has gotten nuts. Small packages are now $5 easily which makes it near impossible to sell anything for $10 on ebay

I remember when I was selling my SS Hulk PF and got a ton of requests overseas but the shipping costs were insane. And that was a few years ago, can't imagine what it would be now.

I was hoping it was an error when the Price came up but it's not. Did the buyer pay for shipping? If you offered free shipping you must have taken a huge hit.

The couriers must hurt there own buisness with these prices, don't they? Surely people that pay these prices must be the minority of wealthy people that don't give a ----.

Wow, those prices are nuts.

This is why I haven't started unloading comic book lots...I think the shipping costs will make it prohibitive.
