I was surprised to see Warren Ellis wrote those Castlevania episodes. I feel asleep midway through episodes 2 and 3. Will have to rewatch the series

The Son: S1 - 7.5/10

Solid period piece that covers a family's exploits from 1849-1915. Covers America's struggles to integrate with Native and Spanish Americans as well as the rise of the Texas oil empires. Really interesting narratives with some pretty dark and bloody turns. Reviews seem to be pretty average for this series but it's well above that IMO. Production value and acting are solid across the board.

I'd agree. DD S2 is the best I've seen to date as well.

The Handmaid's Tale - Season 1

I can see why it got 13 Emmy Award nominations this week. 9.5/10

Orphan Black:

S2 - 8/10. Still very good, continuing the momentum from S1; however, i didn't like the Castor revelation at the end, and the double-crossing is beginning to wear on me.

S3 - 6/10. The exhausting "Castor" plot dragged this season to a crawl. Add a nail-biting school trustee election () and a potential shark-jumping trip to the U.K., and I was quite happy to wrap this one up. I'll keep watching but will tread carefully.

I agree about S3, but IMO S4 was a much better season. So far this season has been pretty good, but I am a few episodes behind though, so...

As a whole the series is a pretty good series. It most likely won't go down as one of the greats, but it's definitely worth watching IMO.

Good to hear! We saw the commercials for the final season and wondered why we hadn't been watching it.

Tatiana Maslany deserves so much credit for all the roles she plays. After a while I forget that each of those characters is her, she's really something.

Blood Drive...show on Syfy...surprisingly good, especially if you like that grindhouse stuff. 8/10.
