Those gems look terrible. Looks like cheap plastic, like the plastic eggs on easter. They look out of place with the rest of the statue.

Yah they kind of looks like jelly beans. Hopefully we will get a more crystal looking gemstones when it's finally released.

Looks beastly. I agree about the stones. they look tacky. It's what you get when you cry and whine for light up features.
I'll probably have to customize them with convincing gems down the road.

I'm all for customizing your pieces etc. But for the price people are paying for this statue ss better be on their A game and have none of those cheap, jellybean looking stones.

I will never understand the fascination with light-ups. They look cool, but you'll never use them, and it's just a matter of time before they're dead. The cool lights you'll enjoy in 5 minute increments when you want to take pics or show your friends isn't worth worrying about if/when it will fail, especially on a piece with this kind of price tag. Just my opinion of course.

It looks massive! I wouldn't judge a light up feature under huge convention lighting. Although I do agree the gems should have a more transparent look to them.

I agree. I'm over light ups. Ive had the pcs 1/3 Akuma since his release and I've had his eyes lit up for a grand total of about 30 seconds. I don't even turn them on to show my friends because its a hassle.

just got maul and had to take everything out just to make sure the light up works and then was stressing out because I thought the ex hand didn't work. luckily it did but I was dreading contacting cs and seeing if I could get a replacement...
