Independence day ID4 license

This news needed a thread ASAP! As if Chronicle didn't have enough cool stuff on the way already, they now have the ID4 license!! No word yet on what may or may not come of it (Ahem... Paul? ) But it is big news either way and I personally haven't been this excited for the hobby in quite some time. The first movie had so many cool props, the sequel will hopefully keep that going.. We can likely expect plenty of cool statues, busts and ships I'm sure! I'll keep this first post updated as news becomes available..

Hell YES! I always loved the style Patrick Tatopoulos came up with for the look of the props and effects for Stargate and ID4.

Bring on it on Chronicle!

Yeah I'm so happy, if the license applies to the first movie, I see one of these in our future...

For sure! I might be wrong, but I thought Paul did mention it was for both movies somewhere? Maybe I'm mistaken or just wishful thinking. lol

I love the look of the ship in that hanger, and it reminded me of the base in Stargate. Loved that, almost feels like Stargate and ID4 could be a shared cinematic universe. Like the Stargate is in another room like that in Area 51.

Even as a big fan of both franchises, I've never made that link before, you're right though now I think about it. Lets hope the license is all inclusive, although the same ships and Aliens etc might make it into the next movie anyway, it would make sense.

Me too, I hope we'll get a 1/2 Alien bust also just for easy display. CC have only been around a short while, they have already teased a studio kit of the Rodger Young and Athena class and now are offering ID4 items. This is all stuff I'd almost given up hope on, they flew into my top 3 companies and I don't even have anything from them yet... long may the cool offerings it continue.

Exciting news indeed.

Looking forward on seeing goodies from ID4.

I believe ICONS made an alien ship ?
That's all I've seen.

Yeah, icons did one although you never see them about these days. It was quite nice but I suspect CC will better it... And maybe even add an interior rather than just slapping a black canopy on.
