Getting a phone interview tonite to adopt a Pug..

.. from a rescue.

Man, the crap they put you through just to take a dog off their hands.

Anyone adopt from a rescue before?

they make you jump through hoops now with all the animal cruelty cases these days

Believe me, I know. Bronchial cephalic is the term for the style of snout they have. They snort and gasp for breath all the time.

My current male pug has arthritis in the hips as well as patella luxation in one of his back knees. I'm fixin' to have him fitted for a cart soon.

Our pug turned 10 earlier this year. He's got hip and vision problems. He was also diagnosed as diabetic a few weeks ago. We have to give him two shots a day. He doesn't seem to feel them though, so that's good.

Pugs are great dogs. My family has had probably close to a dozen.

They are the best for sure. Honestly, I wouldn't want any other breed.

All breeds have problems. It's the product of trying to perfect the breed. Counterproductive if you ask me.
