Partial.ly is great and almost a perfect payment plan solution. Just wish they offered PAYPAL. I think soon they will

Does he ever do the 'best offer'? Lol! Would feel strange doing that for a new statue.

New statues are pretty much a set price. In stock or older items you can often do the 'make offer' thing on.

Todd's fantastic to deal with.

I purchased the Tweeterhead Donna Troy statue from them and they were great to deal with. I gave them an offer (since they were accepting them), they accepted and the statue was on its way (I think I offered $25 or $30 less than the statue asking price). I do have to say I was a little shocked over the cost of shipping - it was around $45 but it was being shipped from CA to Pittsburgh, PA. It shocked me a little but I have been selling some of my statues on Ebay and I guess it had been a while since I sold anything on Ebay because just shipping a state or two away was more than I remember.

Anyway, you should have confidence dealing with them

I just ordered a statue through Spec Fiction and used Partial.ly for the first time. Pretty easy to navigate. I wish they offered PayPal but for now, it is what it is.

Yep, shipping has gone insane, UPS, FedEx have all raised their prices and they're raising them again this year

I won’t lie I am not a fan of spec fiction. The communication lacks and anytime he does actually respond he has absolutely zero knowledge regarding shipping eta.

given shipping ETA's are always changing from the manufacturer it's not really his fault...

How are you communicating? Todd always responds within a couple hours in most instances via Messenger on his FB.

Communication is his biggest asset IMO.

And he can't invent ETAs....he's at the company's mercy.

Spec fiction is the best in the business. You can’t fault him for not knowing ship dates. It’s out of his hands. He goes out of his way to take care of you imo. In terms of communication, he’s a one man show and gets busy. It’s very rare if he doesn’t respond within a few hours even on a weekend. I think you have unfair expectations.
