Something about the face is a little off to me, otherwise it's gorgeous.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Guys, seriously i'm shocked how great this looks. Part of me wants this to be too expensive, so I wouldn't have to think about getting it, lol

I didn't notice this at first, and don't care since I was never going to get it - but those eyebrows need some attention.

Well let's not get too excited until we see what the production pieces look like.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Prime 1 production piece quality is almost always equal to their prototypes

As stated, I don't care one way or the other, but the discussion has to start at some point.
Not wanting people to go crazy, but take notice, it's there.

Plenty of other companies do conservative bases and often so too are Prime1's 1/3s.
For some the idea of a premium statue includes statue with it's own environment not just statues that lend themselves to be easily displayed characters for shelves.
Between this, XM's and Sideshow's, Poison Ivy really has been a fantastic muse for statuary.

Going over the top is their thing, it's no fun to suppress that by sacrificing aspects of these pieces.

You know what? I will admit that I've done a 180 degree turn in regards to my stance on this.
I agree with you guys. I was one of the ones complaining about the size of these bases, but after thinking about it for a while, I realized that was me projecting the limitations of my own collection and set up.
As far as this hobby is concerned, I'm glad Prime 1 exists and I'm happy to see them push the envelope, regardless of whether or not it's my preference or whether or not their outlandish style is convenient.
The superhero craze won't go on forever, and there may be a time that we look back fondly on a moment where someone had the stones to make these ridiculously outlandish collectibles. Small and simple will always be there, this on the other hand might not be, because the true market for these kinds of pieces will always be small.
Maybe it's time for me to clean house and embrace the madness.

That's the thing - after owning already some Prime 1 stuff I'm confident that what we see is pretty much what we'll get. After all, both prototypes and production pieces are painted by the same people, since apparently Prime 1 own their own factories. Hence the justified excitement.

Yep, they are too square, and too long. Hopefully they will address that. I'm pretty sure I could find a spot for her otherwise
