I say if someone is stupid enough to post all sorts of information about themselves on the internet, and an employer uses that to determine whether to hire you or not, then it's not the employers fault.
If you owned a company you'd want as much info about the person you were considering for hire. You can't blame them.
Is it fair that they assume just because your friends are naked,holding beers and bongs, that you'll be wild an somehow not perform you duties you were hired for?
Yes and No.
If you were the president of the United States it wouldn't matter if you had a picture of you in college holding a spliff. If you were an Olympic Athlete who won
8 gold medals, and someone dug up a pic of you smoking a bong it somehow does?
