It’s not like any of the other characters in the Shazam film would sell.
Even though I liked the film, there isn’t anything exciting about any of the other chracters. I did enjoy all the family dynamic, and their stories, but my biggest turnoff of the film was the horrible CGI on the Sins. Took me out of the film every time. I totally understood why the production budget was relatively low, or conversely rather why the MCU films cost so bloody much.

In your opinion.
I know I’m in the minority on the forums, but the more ‘good’ movie based pieces the better.

I'm not against movie based statues myself, it's just that IMO there aren't a whole lot of good ones out there. By good, I mean: great costume design, great pose, great paint and great likeness. So far I have the Urban Judge Dredd statue. A collection of great movie statues would be pretty cool I think.

I’ve got quite a few ‘good’ movie related pieces. And a few okay ones from Sideshow for various Bat films, and Star Wars etc. For my Marvel line I’ve gone all in with Iron Studios, whereas with DC I’m getting a large chunk of the Prime 1 pieces. Most have great paint and decent likeness. Costume isn’t really dependant on the statue company, and the poses unfortunately can be a bit on the basic museum type pose etc.

I know I'm in the minority, wishful thinking much like Amber Heard Mera.
Least I have Bombshell and Bishoujo versions coming of Mary.

The statue looks good, I'm just bummed this will likely push back the Ross stuff, that was teased ages ago, even more.

Yeah. Not going to happen. Mera has a far far greater chance than Borth’s Mary imo. And honestly I thought she was way under utilised out of all the siblings at the end.

Even though I like movie based pieces, for a lot of people these things have a certain half life. People like me may buy years and years later, but I’m thinking a significant chunk will only preorder relatively close to the movie’s release etc.
So it’s pretty much now or never. I know they’re making a sequel and all. But the sooner the better imo. And it’s not like the mass audience is that large for this iteration of the chracter. It’s barely going to hit $360 to $400 million worldwide.
