The Han and R2's look even worse. Like they are more battle damaged and left to freeze......
No slight to the artist, they did a great job...but who has been clamoring for battle damaged frozen solid Star Wars characters?

Mods are a social construct that don?t actually exist. The mods have been in you this whole time!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well, Bill, if this is true, then the CEO must leave such decisions to be made by people who actually know their s..t and the market. And if he wants an opinion of what would sell or not, well he can always ask the expert.
Forps is his name.

This is an odd line. We've seen statues do the museum marble look before and turn out great, but this has an unfinished look to it. Personally, I feel like they/the artist didn't go far enough with the concept. It may have been more visually interesting had there been larger chunks of crystal exposed instead of the few gashes they have now, and some colour wouldn't hurt.

Guys, do not waste words or time with this.
It looks like an unpainted garage kit that can be bought for 15 bucks at a barn sale!
I still cant believe Sideshow made the decision to put these things up for PO! I love Sideshow but this is laughably bad and uninspiring!

The sculpture reimagines this beloved protocol droid as an archaeological monument from a long time ago and far, far away.

This is a miss for me.
It looks more unfinished than it does a finished piece eroded over time.
It's too pristine with what I would normally associate an ancient artifact to look like. There's no depth. No shading to indicate weathering, which I know is the intent, but it makes it look like a big piece of white plastic freshly put together from a garage kit.
No slight to the artist - art for art's sake and all.
Just not my cup of tea.

To sum it up.
This whole line looks like unpainted garage kits.
Sideshow is my favourite company but this is a total miss.

"Is the statue ready?"
"We haven't painted it yet."
"Bah, we can market it as crystalized!"
--------
I'll be curious as to price. For me I wouldn't pay even half for these that I would for a fully painted version of the same piece.
