Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Wow! Over a month since an update. No one has been reading?

Well, I'm finishing up Eric Clapton's Autobiography. Great stuff.

You might want to check out :

Clapton's Guitar: Watching Wayne Henderson Build the Perfect Instrument by Allen St. John.

Fascinating stuff. It's about legendary guitar maker Wayne Henderson. Clapton was on his waiting list for 10 years! St. John visited Henderson and convinced him to make 2 guitars for Clapton, one of them to auction for Charity. I really enjoyed this book and it's a quick read.

Finally started reading the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones books). Am currently on book 3 of 5, Storm of Swords.

Good to get past where they were on HBO so I know longer know what is going to happen next.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Sounds great.

I actually picked up Zone One again, to read as I go through East of Eden. I'd put it down some months ago, but now I'm coming back to it. I'm still not sure I like the writing style.

Breakfast at Tiffany's, by Truman Capote.

If you've seen the movie, then do yourself a favor and read the novella in order to see just how much Hollywood will alter the source material. The movie was fine, but Capote's original work has much more substance to it.
