I am reading a book by Duncan McGeary Call led to the slaughter-The Donner Party Werewolves. Been good so far and he just also had a trilogy of his Vampire books released and they are only 99 cents until may 1. I am going to try those too.

Dwarves by Markus Heitz. The 1st of 4 books dealing with an ex-pat Dwarf named Tungdil. Given up as a baby, he blacksmiths in a human city but longs to find a place deep under the mountains w/ his own folk. Long story short, he's asked by a wizard chum to deliver a message & ends up getting embroiled in a Tolkien' style, epic war.
Heitz is a German writer who knows his way around Germanic mythology & folklore which he incorporates. It feels a little like the 1st Shannara book, which, I thought was great,

I've kept the book in office and only read it during lunch.
I've finished arnd 125 odd pages.. n it's really well written, appropriately dark and mks me put myself in the characters shoes. I think i'm going to like it.. depends on whether she sticks the landing.
My wife read it and keeps on blaming me for giving her the book because it put her in a dark place

I'm reading "Hammer of Daemons" by Ben Counter. It's actually my second read through of this book. Since I haven't read it in awhile, I almost forgot all the details. I don't mind though since it's great read.

Nice. I'll look forward to diving into it.
Tell your wife its just a story and that you aren't him. Unless you are, then don't say a word.
