Maybe, but they seem to do pretty well with it, you may get more mediocre films but you get far less terrible films and you still get really good Films like GoG and Winter Soldier.

I'll take Wonder Woman above Rise any day of the week. Dawn was better but still didn't have any moments I attached to. Wonder Woman had more emotional moments for me and while I feel the villains needed more character development it would have cost her team time and possibly her, so your almost damned if you do, damned if you don't...or you make a 3 hour movie.

Compared to? It's still the best Batman film in my estimation, maybe if you're comparing it to Psycho or the Godfather.
