I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Most read in a session?
Whats the most number of comics you have read in a single sitting? Mine is 16 (read The Sandman: The Furies in one go) but I'm sure someone can beat that paltry figure!

I read the entire run of Girls just a couple of weeks ago (which is 24 issues, I think--I sold them on eBay right after...). I used to read a lot more--I remember reading the entire run of Mutant X (which was a good book, I recall!) in one sitting, and that was over 30 comics, I think.
The biggest run, though, had to be Ultimate X-Men, when I read 1-66 (or so) in one sick-day afternoon. That's probably my record.

I read absolute Watchmen, then read all the first 8 volumes of Y:The Last Man in TPB once when our electric went down and I had nothing to do but read.
That's like 50 issues plus.
NEVER AGAIN!

To be fair though, one issue of Watchmen is like reading 20 issues of a current comic, and Y is very easy to read, you can read an average issuein about 5 minutes.

Probably about 25, but that was sick at home in bed, before I nodded off (again). A typical sitting is about 5-8 singles or one TPB.

I've recently read the entire Ennis Punnisher run up through the most recently printed issue give or take a few. Pulled every back issue. This was maybe a year ago. Did it on a Saturday I had to myself. That included all the original and Max series. Went through them like pretzels. 60+ books, at least.

there are some factors that might alter my answer a bit...
am I in the bathroom whilst reading these issues, or not?
is my mother in law over at the house?
am I home alone?
