Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince 7.75/10
Way behind catching up on these. Reading the books with my daughter before watching the films. By far my favorite of the series so far and the perfect balance of faithfulness to the source versus pacing for a film IMHO.

I enjoy younger-geared animation too. I have a 4 and a 6 year so I'm often stuck watching a lot of it. However, even my 2 youngsters started to drift off while watching Trapped In Time and they love superhero flicks. DC missed the boat on this one. Not recommended.

Robocop (2014) - 6/10
This felt more like a TV pilot. Some decent ideas and visuals. However, it was a much lighter movie than the original (PG rating). Unfortunately, without a really strong villain presence, as well a greater element of caring for the lead character, this one kind of falls flat. I don't see myself interested in a second viewing.

I think it's one of the worst films in the series.

Riddick ~ 7/10
It started off slow, but quickly picked up pace and managed to recapture the feeling that the original (Pitch Black) brought

Don't know. What's the difference?
All I know is the version I watched was very misplaced. Made no sense half the time.
