I'm going to answer this question from the perspective that it's serious.
When Sideshow first unveils a statue, it's called a Prototype. It's essentially a one-off, perfectly made statue by Sideshow's in-house artists that's pretty much a perfect "best case" scenario of what the final (Production) version that is mass produced will look like.
The Production piece is kind of a first glimpse of what the statues that people will actually get will look like as it is one that has (supposedly) come off the production line and sent to Sideshow for them to take final pictures so everyone can see what it will look like. The design is the same it's just that when something is mass produced on a production line there is inevitably some quality lost between that Prototype and Production so people then get into the never ending judging/arguing/etc about how good the Production version looks vs. the Protoype.
You then inevitably have people getting things that look even a bit different from the Production piece because again; mass production makes it difficult to predict exactly what it's going to look like especially in the case of Sideshow where their budget on production/QC appears to be, shall we say, not always optimal.
That's the gist.
