Take a look at WW movie PF statue Prototype vs Production and you can see when things go bad with SS they go bad...
Keep in mind that the pics from San Diego are of a production piece.

I meant in hand pictures... I just don't trust certain companies when they make statements, sure odds are it's probably true that's an actual production version but I'm just a bit skeptical until I see hard evidence...

It was a production piece. You can look at it and tell. Many of the pieces they had on display were production samples. Easy to tell if you watch the videos.

True. I spoke to a project manager at the show who told me that they hadn’t done a good enough job of getting out the news that many of the pieces displayed were production.

This. It is an almost meaningless thing to say when you know they aren't just going to take a random production piece.

Think I can flip around the old base to use with the new statue? Looks doable

It’s not meaningless at all. It shows they are proud to display the new products they have coming. What was at the show is what we’re gonna get. Why is this so hard for people to accept?

He's saying it's "almost meaningless" in the sense that just because they're showing a production piece at a show like that it doesn't absolutely 100% guarantee that's EXACTLY what people are going to get.

The guy who posted the Iron Man MKIII pictures can attest to that.
