anyway, im utterly addicted to this show (watched season 1-3 and then watched them again with my dad who is now hooked as well lol) I don't think I can surive like 9 more months until they start airing season 4!! these actors don't need breaks, just work them non stop so we can get more GOT!!

The real trick is going to be when the TV series catches up to the books, and based on the length between books, and the fact that Martin keeps adding one more book to his plan, I'm sorry to say that I can't imagine the TV series won't have to be canceled long before the end on this story is told.

I don't think it will be a problem and there is a lot of life left in the series. There is plenty of material to mine from and just like The Walking Dead tv series the HBO series can always deviate from the source material a bit and become it's own animal.

They might even create spin-off series telling the lives of Ed Stark, Robert Baratheon, Khal Drogo or Targaryens and such.

That would be sweet, and I say why not?

Not to keep comparing GoT to The Walking Dead but AMC is doing the same thing and producing an original WD spin-off surrounding another group of survivors in the same universe.
