funny you should bring this up as we are having problems with our truck

recently i started smelling an exhaust smell in the cab and Shawn suspects it might be because the CC has issues

is this true?

it depends on if your exhaust is bolt-on or welded

well it depends. If your catalytic converter is welded to the rest of the exhaust system then its a NO. But if its bolted its a YES. But remember those bolts are very rusted and may need to be cut

hope it helps!

Hawkeye, you can go to a muffler shop and get a new one put on for about 200 including labor. Dont go buy your parts from the dealership as they will most likely just try to sell u a new exhaust for a couple g's
