Gotta be focal distortion. But yeah, a more neutral distance is ideal for sculpting reference.
This is something Hot Toys screwed up as well. Predator heads are big, especially Super Predators. Trying to "fix" that gets in the way of screen accuracy.

Now a few weeks have past, I don't think I'll be ordering. This is a nice looking statue, and I do want it. But the Jungle hunter is so damn big! I'm not sure I actually want any more statues of that size. I'm crossing my fingers for a 1/4 line from Prime 1 soon, before prices get too out of hand...

I just hope P1 make the Berserker Predator's bio mask a bit wider, and show less of his head with the bio mask head sculpt, if they can fix both of these issues, it will be perfect.......

Yea, same here. There's a lot of if's with this statue and question's I have. If they fix the mask?....If they paint it as good as the proto?...If shipping prices don't get even higher....If they price it fairly?
If they manage to pull this one off with the same quality & care as the Jungle Hunter, it will be tough for me to pass on it. I'm personally going to wait until it releases before I decide on this guy. If they make it a masterpiece, I'll reward them by ordering one.
