For those who received Blanka, can you confirm that the customs code is 9703 ?
Thanks

Just got my blanka savage ex- it's very well done, well packed, nice compact box. It shows way better in person
Sadly mine has some paint marks on the shorts but it's minor

BLANKA REVIEW
The Good:
* Body sculpt is perfect as expected from PCS
* Paint job on the skin has nice detailing
* Hair "volume" looks great from all angles
* Metal on the feet chains is a nice touch
* Finger/toe nails look great
The Bad:
* Neck seam is VERY noticeable and should have been better hidden.
* Bottom row of teeth are not straight on the EX portrait, and looking at others pictures it seems this is a common issue.
* Hairline missing details from prototype - a minor nitpick
* The material and cut on the shorts/trunks is not up to standard
I also had some QC issues, but hopefully CS will sort these out.
The MM is my biggest issue. Given the quality of past MM releases, Blanka's shorts fall....short. A thick cotton/canvas should have been used instead of the thin polyester feeling material we got. The ruffling/cut ends should have been a different material/color. And the cut and glue job on the back of the shorts is plain bad. Why wasn't this properly stitched?
I have very little faith in the factory's ability to execute mixed media. After what happened with the 1/3 ninjas I'm very hesitant to order new MM pieces. Hopefully Nash and his puffer vest will set things right.
Would have been nice:
This statue made me realize how different SFIV Blanka is from SF2 Blanka. Given that we won't see another Blanka from PCS anytime soon, I would have liked a third SF2 style portrait and SF2 colors (P2 skin with P1 hair).
But even with all my issues, it's a solid MM release and I'd place it in the PCS Mixed Media top 5.
RATING: 7.5/10
.
