This piece will be much larger and much more detailed and complex than the Ragnarok Thor. There are 8 soldiers plus Alucard, plus the hound. It will be huge and probably totally worth the $845.

What they did was announce it on facebook at 1/4 and then a couple days later at the reveal they said it was 67cm- no mention of scale change. Then days later they announced that the floor model would be much larger.
Its really poor communication. In fact you can still google Figurama and Hellsing and their site pops up showing him at 1/4 scale.

Ah, ok, I did not see that. That is a mistake on their part.
I do know that they were scrambling to have Alucard on display and up for PO at the event. I suspect they did not quite realize how big the 1/4 piece would be (the base is probably close to 1 m in diameter), and made a last minute change. The painted piece showed up literally hours before the event.

I think the most people who preo'd it are aware of it. But indeed it's very confusing. Maybe some on the Fest also preo'd it when they saw it cause they expecting the piece they showed.
For me it's not a problem. 67cm re also very big and the details are amazing AF, so the price is ok for me.

They likely told people there, they did make it clear on the FB page before PO and I was aware.

I guess it blew up a bit on facebook. A lot of people still believe its 1/4. Nobodys really finding any posts talking about changing scales other than the vague one in the last pic I posted. Would be kind of nice of Figurama to speak up, theyve been silent on customers asking about scale for the last couple days.

Yeah thats the whole confusion. Seems that the 1/4 statue was 91cm so basically when they introduced the statue as being 67cm they were changing the scale without anybody knowing. Everybody thought it was a 67cm 1/4 statue. Now all they’ll say is “We were upfront from the beginning, we always said you were getting the 67cm statue”. They wont say what scale it is. A facebook member measured the piece on his computer and reduced it to 67 cm. He measured the figure itself at 37cm or 14.5 inches so looks like this will be 1/5 scale unless Figurama comes clean and says different.
