A friend of mine ask for the title of this serial,please,help me

This is the info(sorry for my bad english..I'm italian):

"A person has been pushed under the railroads of the metro,a secret agency gave him a new body and powers(strenght,speed..),but he had not to see his family.he can't resist and in some way meets his family..."

That rings a bell. It only lasted one season. I'll have to give that a think as the name is not coming to me.

the first ep had a guy releasing poison gas eggs on a subway train, i think
