Even ordering directly and getting the discount for their membership isn't cheaper.
Batman who laughs - discounted $993 usd
Zatanna - discounted price $894 USD
Kyle Rayner - discounted price $927 usd
I could keep going. Xm is not cheaper than this.
Who cares, we aren't talking ES we're talking price.

If I’m paying $$$$ for any statue, I would rather have low ES than not. If I ever sell a statue, it would be easier to sell giving the low ES (based on statue sculpt). Paying $1k for a mass produce (anything over 3000 ES is harder to sell or get your money back).

So in other words if this had an ES of 500, which it could, all the price complaints would be invalid?
I honestly think people only complain on Sideshows threads and give a pass to other companies.

I would actually pay more if I knew how many they made upfront. With XM, we know it will be under 999. Nobody is going to pay $900 if Grevious had an ES of 5000+. They would rather wait and see if secondary price goes down or ssc discounts it. The price I’m willing to pay also is that the sculpt must be pretty damn good. No mediocre sculpts here.

Then your issue isn't with the price. Your issue is with their production numbers.
As for the sculpt, look at it, it's not mediocre in the slightest.

Seams to me it’s just a modified version of the same one they already did a few years ago. I don’t give any company a pass but at same time I am all for free market. This is just more than I care to pay for a modified version of something already out there. Again I point to tweeterhead, their large statues are so much cheaper (granted sw licensing will cost more) but the r&d on this was pretty low. I will take my chances and wait to see if price drops. In they end they can charge what they want but seams this price is just fleecing to me.

It’s actually both. I was expecting this to be at $700 not $900. I also expect exclusive with these statues. Not offering is just getting lazy.

I think most of XM or Prime1 are just as pricey but I have never seen SS put out the quality of those.
