I have this ordered and I am not sure I like the really obvious color difference between the head sculpt and the body. Need to see more pics (and probably this in hand) before deciding but if this is that obvious, I will be sending it back.

The color difference is throughout the suit. Textured vs. smooth(er). I think it's always been that way, but this does look more pronounced than what we see in the earlier pictures and videos...could be the lighting.

One big reason I liked this- more than the last SS and XM attempts- was because IS kept the revisionist, extreme tactical flourishes to the costume in check by keeping the color more closely uniform throughout.
Everything was appropriately subtle and discrete.
I won't be thrilled if those segments are more strongly demarcated. I can always repaint it, but it's just another PITA thing to put on the "to do" plate.

The colors are a bit muted compared to the bright red in the prototype. The biggest change is the stained glass mural. It looks way off.
