a decidedly heavy awakening

those three boxes are definitely demanding and eat up space
Congrats! It's a beast, your gonna love it, even if it weighs a ton!

I ordered custom glass panels and a back mirror for it.

Inner size 77 x 104 cm (30.5 by 41")
So I can use a 80 x 80 (31.5 x 31.5") solid wood table or custom pedestal. Still have to decide about final design.

Other ppl here who already made their dust cover / glass cabinet for it ?

Heated up the dreads with a hair dryer, slid paddle pop sticks between the dreads to bring them out more then cooled the dreads with cool setting on hair dryer to set in place. Removed paddle pop sticks about an hour later.

Way better man.

So you didn’t have to leave anything in there to keep them in place then.

Step 1 - Heat up that one side of his dreads until rubber feels soft and flexible

2 - Use paddle pop sticks to weave between dreads in order to push some out and shape slightly more exaggerated than you would like it to look as when you take them out it will slightly drop.

3 - Once all the dreads are in an exaggerated position leave the paddle pop sticks in while cooling the dreads with the cool setting of the hair dryer.
Do this for 5 mins to make sure the core temp of the dreads is cold too this will help the rubber set into position.

4 - Leave paddle pop sticks in for further 30-60 mins

5 - remove and enjoy
