Yknow I need to clear something up. I have NEVER seen a likeness that pleases everyone.
Dont get me wrong Ive seen some that look perfect, but these are usually obscured by heavy makeup,Freddy,Frankenstein,Joker etc.
We all see things different and thats that.
Do I think my statue is perfect? Hell no. I am happy to have one of my childhood heroes gracing my living room..you betcha!
I'm not really concerned with whos Reeve looks closest or whos hairstyle is a few strands different than a certain photo/still.
I have a Chris Reeve Superman that I made.Thats good enough for me.
Remember all the good things both Chris Reeve and Superman stand for.

Vadar and I are friends if he wants to pat me on the back,so what?
And the CM Reeve has nothing to do with this thread so again you stray from the path just for malicious intent.
Thanks for your comments on the statue.

Hey Mike, do you sculpt your bodies that are covered in clothing or suits, or do you just use a generic manniquin that fits the bill.

It depends. For the most part its either body casts or sculpture.

Hey Mike, we're friends for sure. But I've always been a fan. I've been a fan since the days of your garage kit work. And you were nailing the likenesses back then, even before people thought about doing lifesize busts. Everyone sees things differently for sure. But I trust your eye more than any other. It's one thing to complain/criticize, it's another thing to create. To be able to bring into existence something that so represents the essence of a person is a unique talent. You capture more than a likeness. You capture the soul.

Not superman related bro, but your full figure peices lately like quazimodo and regan and the frankinstien are truely amazing. Your finishing skill painting silicone and hair work is truely impressive.

You're not human, are you Mike? Or did you make a pact with the Devil?
Lifelike is an understatement!
